A bomb exploded near the house of a slain anti-Taliban tribal elder in northwest Pakistan on Monday, killing two people and wounding three others, police said.
The attack may have been aimed at the late elder's son, who has vowed to carry out his father's mission of defeating the Islamist militants. The Taliban have killed hundreds of tribal leaders who have defied their bid to impose an extreme version of Islam in the Afghan border region. (AP)
