Yigal Amir refuses sharing cell with other inmate

During an appeal hearing on former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's assassin Yigal Amir's confinement conditions, Supreme Court Justice Esther Naor proposed to consider Amir's request, and place him in a cell with another inmate.
Amir's lawyer stated in response that his client rejected the proposition, claiming "it will only perpetuate his segregation from other prisoners." Amir added during that hearing that he does not intend to spread a doctrine, noting he did not know of the existence of such doctrine. (Aviad Glickman)
