Report: US preparing for extensive Yemen operation
The US is planning an extensive military operation against Al-Qaeda in Yemen, the Wall Street journal reported. Within the framework of the preparations, Washington is moving military and intelligence forces in order to aid US and Yemeni military strikes against Al Qaeda targets.
Another object of the operation is to increase the number of independent intelligence sources US has in Yemen and to decrease its dependence on Saudi intelligence. (Ynet)
