South Korean military boat sinks, 3 dead

A South Korean army boat capsized during a training exercise on Wednesday, killing three soldiers, in the third fatal accident involving a military craft inside a week.

A defense ministry official said the small boat with eight soldiers on board overturned in the Namhan River near Yeoju, about 100 km (60 miles) southeast of Seoul. (Reuters)
