Austria's parliament has passed a bill to provide 20 million euros ($27 million) in federal money for restoring Jewish cemeteries over the next two decades.
The measure foresees annual government payments of 1 million euros ($1.4 million) into a special fund over the next 20 years. The country's Jewish community will supplement the government's contributions each year through 1 million euros in donations. (AP)
