Jerusalem deputy mayor: Beit Yonatan decision 'wretched'

None

Jerusalem's Deputy Mayor David Hadari slammed the attorney general's instruction to carry out the court order to evacuate and seal the illegally-constructed Jewish building in Silwan known as Beit Yonatan.

"This is a very wretched decision," he said. "The law can't be applied meticulously against Jews alone. There are 600 illegally-constructed Arab homes and nobody does anything about it. But when it's a Jewish building, the whole world comes out against it." (Ronen Medzini)
