US army chief: Iran sanctions effective, but all options still on table

Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, met with IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi and the two discussed a range of issues, including the Iranian nuclear threat.
Mullen noted that the sanction placed on Iran were effective, but stressed that all options remained on the table, including a military option. Ashkenazi also commented on the issue, questioning whether the sanctions were sufficient in order to convince Iran to change its course. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
