Barak may approve West Bank construction to receive Shas freeze support

Defense Minister Ehud Barak has apparently committed himself to signing construction permits for Judea and Samaria projects after the additional construction freeze is over in order to receive Shas's support in the cabinet vote.
It is believed that the defense minister agreed to the issue at a meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Minister Yishai. An additional Shas demand ahead of the cabinet vote is that Netanyahu in conjunction with the US, approve Jerusalem construction during the freeze. (Attila Somfalvi)
