UK welcomes Israeli plan to withdraw from Ghajar
British Foreign Office Minister for the Middle East Alastair Burt has welcomed Israel's decision to withdraw from the northern village of Ghajar, located on the Israel-Lebanon border.
“I welcome this announcement. It is a positive development, and a sign of progress in the region. We call on Israel and the UN to work together to agree practical measures to implement this proposal as soon as is possible," he said. (Ronen Medzini)
