Regional rabbinical courts get 12 new judges

A Justice Ministry committee has appointed 12 new judges to Israel's regional religious courts. The committee members, headed by Justice Minister Yaakov Ne'eman, agreed to give equal representative to Ashkenazi haredim, Mizrahi haredim and Religious Zionism.
Committee member MK Otniel Schneller noted that three of the designated national-religious judges are reserved IDF officers. (Kobi Nahshoni)
