Saudi Arabia's King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz will be making a visit to Damascus and holding meetings with Syria's President Bashar Assad in a bid to finalize understandings which will prevent Lebanon from becoming part of a crisis surrounding the International Court's investigation into the murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.
The Saudi king is working to consolidate an agreement before indictments are presented by the International Court, for if Hezbollah is accused of the assassination, the organization might decide to sever its ties with the government in Beirut, sources told Lebanon's Al Akhbar daily newspaper.
