Russia commends Israel on Ghajar withdrawal

Russia praised a decision by Israel to withdraw forces from the northern part of a village straddling the Israel-Lebanon border. A statement published by the Russian foreign ministry said that "the commitment should be carried out as soon as possible".
France and Britain praised the withdrawal from Ghajar on Thursday. (AFP)
