PM promises MKs no third freeze
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that an agreement with the US regarding the renewal of the West Bank construction freeze has yet to be reached. During his meeting with Knesset members Netanyahu presented three principles he is demanding from the US, which include no additional freezing, a US veto on a unilateral Palestinian declaration of independence and a promise to not pressure Israel to reach an agreement within 90 days.
Netanyahu added that "the only major problem with the agreement is that this time houses that are under construction will be frozen too, unlike the previous freezing." (Attila Somfalvi)
