Record Broken: Israel welcomes 3 millionth tourist

Ben Gurion airport welcomed Israel's 3 millionth tourist from the beginning of the year. Thus breaking Israel's old tourist entries record from 2008. The lucky number 3,000,000 landed on a flight from Sao Paulo.

Israel's 3,000,001 tourist will be welcomed by Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov at a special ceremony. The Tourism Ministry estimates that 3.4 million tourists will arrive in Israel by the end of 2010. (Yoav Glazner )
