UAE military jet crashes during training mission

Emirates state media says a military training jet has crashed in the north of the country, killing the pilot.
The WAM news agency reported on Monday that the United Arab Emirates air force Hawk trainer went down on a routine training mission in the emirate of Ras al-Khaimah. WAM says authorities are combing the site to determine the cause of the crash. (AP)
