Palestinian minister: Grenade hurled at prison targeted security prisoners

Palestinian Prisoner Affairs Minister Issa Qaraqae claimed Wednesday that a fragmentation grenade hurled at the Hadarim prison Tuesday night was meant to hurt security prisoners. The grenade hit the building's outer fence. No injuries or damage were reported.
Qaraqae claimed that the grenade was hurled at the prison's security ward and said a dangerous precedence has been set. He further added that Israeli authorities, including the Shin Bet, were responsible for the prisoners' wellbeing. (Ali Waked)
