Israel to set up permanent medical units in Haiti
The Foreign Ministry is planning to set up permanent trauma and emergency units in Haiti within four months. According to the program, Israeli teams will construct the building for the medical departments, and train locals to work there.
This week, the Ministry sent some 200,000 doses of medication against cholera to assist the Haitian authorities to combat the outbreak. (Ronen Medzini)
