5 arrested in violent protest near Bethlehem

Some 50 Palestinians, Israeli and foreign activists gathered at the West Bank village of Umm Salmona, south of Bethlehem, and hurled stones at Israel Defense Forces soldiers and Border Guard officers.
The troops responded with crowd dispersal means. Five of the protesters were arrested and taken in for questioning by the security forces. (Yair Altman)
