NATO, Afghan forces say they killed 15 insurgents
NATO says Afghan and coalition forces have killed at least 15 insurgents in eastern Afghanistan in an overnight operation.
A NATO statement says security forces were searching for a senior Taliban leader when they came under attack near a remote compound in Sherzad district of Nangarhar province on Friday night. (AP)
