Report: Iran prevents terror attack on Damascus flight

Iranian security forces succeeded in thwarting the kidnapping of a plane full of passengers that took off from Tehran to Damascus, the semi-official Fars news agency reported. The report says security forces detained an armed man who said he had planted a bomb on the plane and wanted to kidnap it. There was, however, no bomb aboard. (Dudi Cohen)
