Egypt: National parliamentary elections begin
Egyptians are voting in a parliamentary election expected to be comfortably won by President Hosni Mubarak's ruling National Democratic Party.
Egypt has 41 million registered voters, but turnout has traditionally been very low and only 30 to 35 percent of the electorate is expected to cast ballots Sunday for the new, 508-seat legislature. (AP)
