Placards denounce Civil Administration official

Placards denouncing the Civil Administration's Inspection Unit Deputy Chief Rami Ziv were hung on Saturday night throughout Samaria. The placards contain a picture of soldier Avner Hezi Kfir from Elon Moreh who was killed in Lebanon in 1997, and read: "Rami Ziv, why?" The memorial for Hezi Kfir was destroyed by the Civil Administration last Thursday because it was built without a permit.

Ziv's relationship with the settlers has been tense due to the nature of his role in addition to the fact that he lives on the settlement of Peduel in Samaria. (Yair Altman)
