Netanyahu during Sigd event: Now we'll build Jerusalem together
"I am happy we were able to fulfill the vision of generations," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during an event marking the Sigd holiday of Ethiopian Jewry. "'Next year in Jerusalem.' We are in Jerusalem and now we will build it together."
Netanyahu said he was proud that during his term of office the government approved a massive aliyah (immigration) of Falashmura. He also expressed his satisfaction that the story of Ethiopian Jews had been included in school curriculums. (Dor Glick)
