Iraqi official: French embassy attack thwarted
Iraq's interior minister says security forces have thwarted an attack on the French Embassy in Baghdad that was planned by the same group that carried out a horrific siege on a Christian church last month that killed 68.
Interior Minister Jawad Bolani on Monday briefed foreign diplomats from seven embassies about the plot. He said 14 suspects have been arrested in connection with the October siege at the Our Lady of Salvation church. (AP)
