Japanese, US and S. Korean foreign ministers to meet
The foreign ministers of the United States, Japan and South Korea will meet in Washington on December 6 to discuss the crisis with North Korea, the Nikkei news agency reported on Monday.
Nikkei, quoting "sources close to the matter", said the three countries hoped to nudge China to use its leverage to restrain its ally, communist North Korea, which launched a deadly artillery attack on a South Korean island last week. (Reuters)
