China urges US to resolve issues on leaked cables

China called on the United States on Tuesday to "appropriately resolve related issues" concerning reports on a series of leaked US State Department cables, a foreign ministry spokesman said.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said at a regular news briefing that Beijing has noted the Wikileaks' disclosure of a trove of State Department cables, but declined further comment. (Reuters)
