Knesset Presidium rejects request to debate WikiLeaks
The Knesset Presidium rejected Knesset Member Aryeh Eldad's request to debate WikiLeaks cables on Tuesday.
Following the decision, Eldad claimed the Knesset presidium and coalition leadership have made the Knesset "irrelevant" in regards to all the burning issues around the world. "Any Israeli clerk meeting with US representatives must take into account that what he says might be leaked online. This is a huge earthquake," he said. (Roni Sofer)
