The three men, belonging to the Abu Mousa faction of the Fatah who trained in Syria, have admitted to acquiring $25,000 worth of firearms they designated for terror purposes. The three have been indicted in an military court.
Nebil Kharav, 46, Samakh Shahrukh, 33, and Muhammad Nasrallah, 39, live in the Palestinian city of Dhahiriya in Hebron.
Kharav was recruited to the extremist group several years ago while traveling to Jordan, and was sent to military boot camp in Syria. He was instructed by his commander to carry out a terrorist attack and received $25,000 in order to purchase weapons.
Kharav approached Shahrukh, recruited him to the Abu Mousa faction, and told him about his terrorist intentions. Shahrukh was sent to meet with Eid Ma'at in Jordan, where he told him about the planned attack, receiving the green light to go ahead with it. He also purchased arms and recruited Nasrallah.
Nasrallah drove the vehicle during the terror attack three months ago and Shahrukh was the one who shot at the Israeli cars going by. During the investigation, the three men admitted they had planned more attacks, including one against an Israeli citizen who regularly visits Dhahiriya. They deliberated whether to kidnap him so they could negotiate the release of prisoners, but ultimately decided on a shooting attack.
During the course of the investigation, the group revealed their weapon arsenal, including two M-16 (one of which was used to carry out the shooting attack), magazines and M-16 bullets, a pistol, silencer and other weapons.
Following the incident, Netta and Sharon Zucker drove to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba to seek medical attention. Netta was taken in to the operating room for a Caesarian-section and gave birth to a son.
