Assad in leaked memo: Iran won't attack Israel with nukes
An American telegram revealed by the WikiLeaks website says Syrian President Bashar Assad estimated that Iran would not attack Israel with a nuclear weapon, so as not to harm the Palestinian residents.
According to the document, which reviewed a meeting between Assad and an American senator about a year and a half ago, the Syrian president said he was not convinced that Iran was developing an atom bomb. (Roee Nahmias)
