IDF chief: Pardo's involvement in Gallant Affair was marginal
IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Gabi Ashkenazi addressed Tamir Pardo's appointment as the head of Mossad by saying that Pardo's involvement in release the forged "Galant document," which caused a stir in the security establishment, was marginal. Ashkenazi said that the case was investigated from all angles, and noted that Pardo is "a professional man who is worthy of the role." (Hanan Greenberg)
