White House: China has duty to pressure N.Korea

China has an obligation to tell North Korea that its "belligerent behavior" must come to an end, the White House said on Tuesday.

"I think you'll see progress on multilateral discussions around this over the next few days," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters when asked for the US assessment of the tense situation on the Korean peninsula. (Reuters)
