Ben Gurion Airport: Passenger attempting to smuggle cocaine arrested

A 29 year old Afula resident was arrested at Ben Gurion Airport on Wednesday over suspicions that he tried to smuggle half a kilogram of cocaine from Belgium to Israel – in a shampoo bottle.

Police are investigating his involvement in additional drug smuggling incidents. The suspect will be brought before the Nazareth Magistrate's court for a remand hearing. (Ahiya Raved)
