Britain: Gov't presents amendment to law allowing arrest of foreign officials
The British government presented an amendment to a law that enables local judges to issue arrest warrants against foreign senior officials visiting Britain.
The amendment was presented following pressure from Jerusalem over arrest warrants issued in the past against Israeli ministers and military officials. The amendment is supported by all three parties in the country and is expected to be passed over the next few months. (Ronen Medzini)
