4 suspected of stealing Torah parchments

Four people have been arrested on suspicion they stole Torah parchments from dozens of synagogues throughout Israel, following a sting operation in the Negev. Two stolen Torah books were found on their persons, and a hearing on the remand of their arrest is to be held in Beersheba later. (Ilana Curiel)
