Estimate: More than 10,000 evacuated from homes
Police estimated that more than 10,000 people have thus far been evacuated from their homes in the Carmel region for fear of the fire spreading, of which 5,000 are from Tirat Carmel and some 4,500 from Hof Hacarmel communities. (Ahiya Raved)
