Defense Ministry imports French fire extinguishing materials
The Defense Ministry has located a French company which can provide some 60 tons of fire extinguishing materials for the Israel fire brigades within hours in order to assist in efforts to contain the Carmel fire.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke to his French, Italian and Greek counterparts on Thursday and asked for their assistance both in providing fire extinguishing materials and planes. (Hanan Greenberg)
