Home Front Command calls up 200 firefighters
The Home Front Command has called up 200 firefighters from all over the country to come and assist efforts to put out the Carmel fire as of Friday morning.
12,000 residents from Tirat Carmel and surrounding areas have been evacuated from their homes, due to the vastly spreading fire. Meanwhile, efforts to identify the 40 bodies of Prison Service cadets burned in the flames continue. (Hanan Greenberg)
