Barak: Authorities acting with purpose and efficiency
Defense minister Ehud Barak said that the fire in the north is "a terrible event with extremely painful consequences, but from the moment it began, all factors involved acted with purpose and efficiency."
"The various authorities are working together and appreciate the solidarity and the international aid from Cyprus and Greece, we are putting every effort into putting out the fire. Beit Oren was devastated by the fire and I hope that other areas aren't hit". Barak said in a press meeting at Haifa University. (Ronen Medzini)
