Haifa Police: Fire isn't threatening Denia neighborhood

Haifa Police spokesperson Mor Inbar said that the fire is not threatening to spread to the neighborhood of Denia in the northern city. He added that residents of the neighborhood are not being evacuated, with the exception of few families whose houses are next to the Carmel Park, who were asked to leave their homes on Thursday night.

The fire continues to burn in a few open spaces in the Carmel forests, and several firefighting teams are working to prevent it from spreading towards residential areas. Meanwhile, Firefighters have contained the blaze in the Hai Bar nature reserve. (Yoav Zitun)
