Obama talks to Netanyahu, promises urgent aid
US President Barack Obama spoke to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Friday to discuss the massive fire raging in the Carmel. Obama said he has prioritized the transfer of urgent aid to Israel and noted he has instructed government agencies to send the necessary means.
Netanyahu stressed there is no telling how long the fire will continue burning and that the aid being provided is extremely important to Israel. (Attila Somfalvi)
