Ussifiya: Residents cut down trees to contain fire
Residents in Ussifiya are cutting down trees near the town's residential area in an attempt to stop the fire from spreading into the town.
Some local residents have stayed behind to help firefighting crews. The head of Ussifiya Council estimated that the blaze was approximately 40 meters (about 130 feet) away from the town's residential area. (Hasan Shaalan)
