JNF: 12,300 acres of land burnt in Carmel fire
The Jewish National Fund says some 5 million trees have been burnt over an area of some 50,000 dunam (12,300 acres) of land since the Carmel blaze broke out on Thursday morning.
According to the JNF, some 100 foresters and firefighters belonging to the organization are taking part in the efforts to put out the fire. (Ahiya Raved)
