Agriculture Minister Shalom Simhon visited patients in Haifa who had been injured in the wildfires as well as the heads of local authorities. "From tomorrow, we'll start working on a program and make efforts to find solutions," he said. "There is extensive damage and income loss which we'll have to compensate during the years."
Simhon said damage totaled millions of dollars and that efforts to evaluate it would begin Monday. "We're used to dealing with damage to agriculture," he said. (Yael Branovsky)
