Senior IAF officer: Fires at lowest levels since firefighting began
A senior air force officer said the wildfire situation is now the best it has been since the fires began.
"The fires have been halted and are now burning at the lowest levels," he said, but noted there was still work to do. He added that a new challenge is expected Monday with the arrival of south-west winds which may drive the fires in new directions. (Hanan Greenberg)
