Defense minister in Beit Oren: State will try and help

Defense Minister Ehud Barak visited kibbutz Beit Oren on Sunday. Accompanied by members of the kibbutz he said that "The damage and the disaster are awful. From a conversation I had with some members I understand that the fire destroyed many houses before the firefighting teams arrived".

Barak addressed the problems facing kibbutz members after the fire is extinguished and said: "Anything the insurance won't cover due to the unique status of the disaster, the state will do what it must in order to assist. (Hagai Einav)
