IDF soldier seriously wounded following weapon misfire

An IDF soldier from the Engineering Corps was seriously wounded Sunday following a weapon misfire which occurred in an army post on the northern border.

The soldier was taken to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed. An inquiry suggests that the soldier was hit by a bullet discharged from another soldier's weapon while the two argued. Military Police are investigating the incident. (Hanan Greenberg)
