Air Force bids farewell to foreign firefighting teams
The Israel Air Force held a farewell ceremony for the foreign firefighting delegations which arrived in Israel to help gain control of the Carmel wildfire. The teams were awarded merit certificates during the ceremony.
The firefighting authorities announced Sunday that the fire had been contained 77 hours after it began. The activity of firefighting planes and helicopters is expected to be reduced Monday. (Hanan Greenberg)
