Germany to double Holocaust survivors' compensation in 2011

The committee handling Holocaust claims has reached an agreement with Germany to double the compensation to Holocaust survivors in 2011. The Berlin government will transfer some $145 million to survivors around the world, to fund welfare services. The funds allocated for this in 2010 were $77 million. (Yael Branovsky)
