Aharonovitch: Current state of firefighting services cannot continue

Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said during a special Knesset plenum on the Carmel wildfires that the current poor state of the firefighting services cannot continue. However, Aharonovitch stopped short of calling for a national investigation committee, though he noted that no committee was necessary to determine the heroism of the firefighters. (Roni Sofer)
