PM sets up headquarters to promote national firefighting network

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has set up a headquarters headed by the director-general of the Prime Minister's Office, to work on setting up a national firefighting network.

He also appointed Netanya Mayor Miriam Feirberg to head the task force handling cases of those who suffered damages. Feirberg and a team of senior government officials will be responsible for allocating immediate grants to those whose homes were destroyed in the fires. (Roni Sofer)
